Happy Fashion Friday!

In the 1948 classic, Easter Parade, Judy Garland and Fred Astaire sang about the lovely hats donned by fashionable socialites during the famous parade that became popular during the late 19th and early 20th century.  Although participation in the parade has dropped significantly over the years, beautiful bonnets will never go out of style.

Whether it’s a wide brim or top hat, with flowers or netting, ladies have a wide selection of looks to choose from for the upcoming holiday.  For those who do not celebrate Easter, a funky chapeau matched with the right outfit will work perfectly for a Mother’s Day luncheon, a formal tea or a spring/summer wedding.  Don’t forget about the Derby coming up in May.

Although you may not break out in a song and dance when you slip on your topper, wearing the right hat will surely have others singing your praises!

Best,
