Happy Tuesday Peeps!

Hope your Valentine’s Day/President’s Day weekend was a blast!  Now that it’s over, you know what that means—time to get ready for Easter!  Yes, the winter holidays are over, and the countdown to Easter has officially begun.  With less than a month before the arrival of the first official day of Spring, we have no time to waste before Mr. Peter Cottontail comes knocking at the door.

Getting ready for the spring season as well as Easter is almost like a ‘1-2 punch.’   We welcome in the ‘season of new beginnings’ by replacing linens, adding fresh coats of paint, or starting on a lawn (or backyard) makeover among the many other spring cleaning projects.  As part of this ritual, we also get ready for the seasonal holidays and celebrations including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and the many graduation parties and bridal showers that we may be hosting.

So, don’t wait to get started on your pre-season preparation.  If you know that you will be hosting friends and family over the Easter holiday, start planning your menu now.  Ask those who will be in attendance to dust off their favorite recipe to include in the meal.   Want to do some re-decorating for the spring/summer months?  Start looking through various magazines or websites for some inspiration like House Beautiful.

You may think that you have plenty of time, but don’t look now because retailers are already displaying beach wear.  Uuuhhm, is that a good thing after all those Christmas cookies?!

Best,
